Yup. The lips. And raised eyebrows as a combined gesture. For instance if at a function, I can gain eye contact with Wifey then do the gesture towards her, then turn my head towards the door and do it again, and she will either shake her head "no", or nod yes, and we will leave.

TRUE CONFESSIONS OF A COFFEE LOVER: I’ve being a 50 year coffee lover since 1973 at the age of 12. I wake up, go to my expresso machine make a double Americano, sit in my recliner and enjoy the warmth of the mug, the aroma and the full bodied taste in my mouth. I love easing into the day. It’s a ritual. When I travel, I carry a pour over drip filter, enough ground coffee for the trip, and my favorite mug from Phuket, Thailand. I make the coffee in my room. There’s a lot of research that shows coffee is good for the brain. My neurologist recommends I drink at least two cups in the morning. I don’t drink alcohol, I have cut out sugar, bread, pasta, rice, legumes and the like. I eat one meal a day consisting of a 3 pound raw multi-vegetable salad with extra virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar. I eat 85-100 grams of protein from meat, eggs, salmon and/or sardines each day. I fast 20 hours a day. I walk 9 miles every other day. You say you don’t drink coffee but I imagine you have something in your life you enjoy in lieu of coffee. I hope you do as long as it’s not destructive. I hope I’ve given you a different perspective on drinking coffee.

They’re really welcoming but, while I stayed in a couple of different rooms the aircon was so loud - even if I switched off l could still hear a few more units close by. For this trip, I brought 7 packs of dark roast espresso coffee and an airpress coffee maker so no more trudging the streets to find. Even Bo’s didn’t hit the spot for me. Nearby, Dream Cafe I preferred. A suggestion, if you thank people in their own language it’s nicer and not so difficult. Salamat.

Scotty walking the meta line of being a pure Catholic and an innocent 7th Day Adventist :) what a great controversy
@bradIeyyy10 ай бұрын
I don't understand, can you explain? is he SDA and catholic?
@sethoselken956210 ай бұрын
@@bradIeyyy the direct answer is, out of all the protestant denominations, SDAs are the most opposite in terms of the divide between Roman Catholicism and "Protesters". In the Catholic church's own publication, they acknowledge that anyone claiming to protest the church's authority should in fact become SDA since the council of Trent rejected the protestant stance on grounds that the protestants continued to intrinsically belong to the Catholic fold due to Sunday worship observance. Luther was very close to subscribing to commandment keeping regarding the fourth commandment, but never quite embraced it fully. Remembering that the Catholic church changed the 10 commandments. Anyway, I think Scotty is just playing with the idea of evangelism and referencing his own upbringing which was in a Catholic home, but not really practicing Catholic, if I remember correctly.
@sethoselken956210 ай бұрын
@@bradIeyyy it's an irony, since SDA theology bridges the gap between Protestant's "saved by grace through faith" and the "salvation through works" stance of the Catholic church. That's a reductive statement, so to elaborate, Luther struggled with the book of James, and how to reconcile it with the writings of the apostle Paul. Meaning, we are justified by faith, through the saving blood of Jesus' atonement on the cross, and then, because we love Jesus and have his law written on our hearts, we strive to obey God's commandments with the help of the Holy Spirit = Faith without works is meaningless. Anyway, SDAs reject apostolic succession (rhetorically derided as ecclesiastical megalomania) and instead derive their doctrine on, Sola scriptura. Most of protestantism falls into the Sola scriptura category. Obey God's words as opposed to the traditions of men. To note, Catholic liturgy is an amalgamation of sumerian cult religions mixed with Mithraism and other Greco-Mesopotamian cult religions. It became pronounced during the reign of Hadrian, but became legislated in the fourth century under Constantine. Most of the early church worshipped on Saturday, even St Patrick and the Celtic church, until Rome's jurisdiction overruled the early churches.
@sethoselken956210 ай бұрын
@@bradIeyyy Seventh Day Adventism is right up Scotty's conspiratorial wheelhouse because it's the only Christian denomination/movement that recognizes a global beast system, and then can walk one through Biblical prophecy and how it connects to the material present that we find ourselves in. ie, where do all the central banks funnel up to? "Follow the money" takes you into the alphabet agency hierarchy and secret society discussion, which unfortunately to some, rests with the Jesuit order. Walter Veith's 36 part lecture series, Total Onslaught delves into it. His other series, From Crete to Malta discusses why the White House was named after the Jesuit Andrew White, and why the district is on "Mary's Land". Interesting for those wondering how the city states of the Vatican and City of London get to operate outside their respective nation's jurisdiction
@sethoselken956210 ай бұрын
And Veith's other series, Rekindling the Reformation is exceptional in relaying the history of European political science regarding Roman feudalism and the development of literacy and Magna Carta concepts. Walter Veith's Clash of Minds YT channel is great, as are his older works. Amazing Discoveries has videos up that delve into the current parallel banking system that is currently "live" and what the stated goals are. It ties back into Biblical prophecy

One question you could ask those students is if they are there in the morning and not in school is that essentially a paid class or don't they get paid? Unless that was a weekend and they did not have school that day. Just seems they are there working during the day when one would think they'd be in the classroom. Is the teacher also there with them? Whole concept seems so odd to me.

It's for the final 3 months they will work maybe 3 days and attend class 2x. They must report what they learned. It doesn't seem to be a national practice as I know high school kids in other cities who don't do this and other regions that do

12:21 as a former rascally teen in Hawaii, when a tourist came asking for directions, we would sometimes give them bogus directions. Mean? Yes. But funny to a kid at the time.

Asking these ridiculous "why" questions are getting annoying. For example, Asking the young lady, why is there so many people in the picture? You could not figure out another statement?

I have chatted with a few Filipinas for Tacloban, I meet one like in the late 90's lost touch with her but I know she is married. She had like four or so kids, all little ones. I friends with one of her daughter on FB and she is beautiful and has her own business. Somehow meeting her I have a lot of her family I cant with and friends with.

Its strange to see people in the Philippines live in a city there whole lives and can't give directions to anywhere in the city or town they live in😅😅😅

I think it's nation wide. I can't count how many times I did not bother asking directions because I knew it would be even more confusing

I asked an older man in Tagbilaran where is Our Lady of Light Drive and he had no idea. One road up.

Scotty, they dont hate you. Imagine you are them, they are hangibg out with friends, and a guy appears looking as if he's in a hurry, and then says something to them in their third language, English, often speaking too fast to give them time to adjust .... Notice how the hand comes up to cover their mouth, because they are embarassed to try to reply, as they are not sure what you said. For instance if you say "Plaza", they are probably thinking WTF did this guy say, was it English, he looks like a foreigner. Now if he said "Excuse me, I'm looking for a place called the Plaza", then they have time to adust to the language. Btw, great Babaroony content lately, I like the freeze framing, youve gone from about 3 Babaroonies per video that are seen over your shoulder but you miss them, up to an excellent number that you do see. Great progress!

Scotty, don't let them laugh at you behind your back. I made that mistake. As they say in the stock market, "Pump 'em and dump 'em..."
