Rehabilitation & Upgrading Of The Teslim Balogun Stadium In Lagos, Nigeria

The ongoing transformation of the Teslim Balogun Stadium in Surulere is the commitment of Lagos State Government to investing in facilities that nurture talent and bring communities together.
The cladding, roof covering, track replacement, upgrading of the VIP Lounge, players dressing lounge, the pitch, and more at Teslim Balogun Stadium are steps towards providing a world-class sporting arena.
In this video, I will be taking you guys on a tour of the stadium to see the ongoing works there. Hopefully after the upgrading is done we shall look at the before and after of the Teslim Balogun Stadium.

Pay peanuts you get monkeys. That rehabilitation is a joke. The stadium still looks old and outdated despite the cosmetic cladding and roof. Nobody in this day and age builds a stadium roof with support pillars which interfere with the view of spectators. A Suspended roof is the modern way. In Nigeria our any how mentality and willingness to accept mediocrity is our undoing. I'd be surprised if CAF certifies this shoddy excuse for refurbishment to host CAF games.
