I am a former soloist with the New York City Ballet and Miami City Ballet. When I was a young student, I was always looking for insights into the ballet world and how to improve my dancing as well as beauty and lifestyle tips. Now that I am a professional, it is my turn to share.
On my channel I make ballet, beauty, and lifestyle videos for everyone of all ages. My goal is help dancers improve and achieve their dreams as well as open up the ballet world to non dancers. There are a couple of old movies with different versions of "Slaughter on Tenth Avenue": "On Your Toes" (1939), with Vera Zorina, partnered with non-dancer actor Eddie Albert (of "Green Acres"), and "Words and Music" ('48), with Gene Kelly & Vera-Ellen. I've never seen it performed on stage.

You are such a joy to watch, I just don’t get what is wrong with American ballet companies, I know that the competition is cut throat, but why they choose to cut you loose, is simply just a mystery to me, you really are magic when you dance. And that is the whole point of ballet...isn’t it?

I am in awe of your arms... such fluidity and expressiveness ! Not that the rest of you is not stunning. But the way you move your arms, your ports de bras are just stunning, so light, supple, effortless and élégant ! Woaw... I took my 5th class today (after a 39 years interlude...) and though I finally managed to look at the mirror, and not where I was going, boy did I look stiff and constrained... Still, that ballet class is such a wonderful moment for me and I will keep merrily dragging my stiff, 57 years old self to class and enjoy every second of it ! And you are quite an inspiration for me...

Oh, Kathryn, first of all: thank you for posting these on YT! I'm not on IG so this makes these clips accessible to me :) second of all.. man do you ever continue to be one of the most inspiring women that I "know" ... you make me so proud to be a woman, and I hope one day to be this strong and this beautiful... your work ethic, your determination is so frickin beautiful.. i've never done ballet a day in my life but I'm so glad I stumbled upon you randomly and stuck around all this time... through ups and downs. I had actually seen your Dewdrop on IG and was again awed by the difficulty in the steps - I'm not the biggest Balanchine fan (Petipa is really my favorite) but his Waltz of the Flowers is the most beautiful and mesmerising version. You looked amazing! And Slaughter looks like so much fun to dance!

Ah Kathryn, this is wonderful. To see you doing what you were born to do and to hear that you will be back in performance with MCB in a couple of weeks is so wonderful to watch. I mentioned a long while ago that my husband gets very interested in your videos too and had been practicing his arabesque after you demonstrated it in a tutorial [heaven help us!]. Well last week as Mum and I danced to old records she found in the house, me wobbling around my crutch, I asked Paddy to demonstrate his best Kathryn Morgan arabesque, which he did, much to my father's amusement and bewilderment.
