You guys in Japan were already doing "quiet luxury" way before it became a trend on social media though! Making good quality, timeless pieces using the best craftsmanship seems to be ingrained in how clothing is designed and produced in Japan, and it's something that the Japanese customer also expects from brands. That's why I love channels like these that explore various Japanese brands we don't have here in North America that I wish we did have!!!

2 minutes into the video and was about to say the same thing! Japanese is in for this trend since, like, forever. My partner who's not into fashion even muttered this the first time we went to Tokyo, "Japanese really have their own way of being stylish without showing any skin or wearing obnoxious logo, something that's a rarity back home"
