ENGLISH LYRICS: i awaken before daybreak the darkness hides its breath i chase after the stillness the words won’t be found lord, give me one more chance i wonder if this will be the last? lord, give me one more chance one way or another, i want to do something about it. right now, if you let go as will merely pass by one another. it will be as it is. i cannot meet with you anymore. lord, give me one more chance i wonder if this will be the last? lord, give me one more chance one way or another, i want to do something about it. right now, if you let go we will merely pass by one another. it will be as it is. i cannot meet with you anymore. no more than to be together. i don’t want to cheat. whenever i think back, an answer can’t be found. lord, give me one more chance i wonder if this will be the last? lord, give me one more chance one way or another, i want to do something about it. lord, give me one more chance i wonder if this will be the last? lord, give me one more chance one way or another, i want to do something about it.

Japanese city pop is just pure gold.Bops one after the other .Nothing else to say.I'm so happy that I accidentally clicked on plastic love that day .It led me down a Rabbit hole that made ne reach this masterpiece .Anri ,Miki Matsubara ,Mariya Takeuchi ,and now I'm gonna make up some space in my playlist for her as well:) Can people suggest more japanese artists like this.I really love style of music and these musicians .

To be fair, this style of music is more like black soul or disco music if you want to start there.

I see a lot of people talking about what the song *feels* like but not what it’s about. Personally, I believe it’s about a break it, specifically because of 1:26 . To me, the singer is lamenting about the sudden end of their relationship, and expresses a want to fix it before it’s too late and they return to be being strangers - as if they’d never met. I could be wrong, but that’s my interpretation.
