Omg I cannot believe the woman who plays Catherine de Medici is American. Her accent on the show is 5000 times better than I've heard out of "big" stars like Natalie Portman's nauseating attempt at an English accent or by far the worst, Peter Dinklage. I dig Tyrion Lannister but damn his accent is awful. Props to this woman!

I made the mistake because during my teen years and early twenties, the big shows on the CW were Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel. These shows featured mainly Americans and British. I did not compensate for the 10 year lapse in time.
