That’s my tileset! First time I’ve seen it out in the wild. Love your videos and have been following for over a year. Thank you so much for using it. Seeing it pop in your vid made my day. I know the project is complete but if you work on it anymore it looks like I missed a couple rule tiles you could’ve used. I’d be happy to update the tileset on itch just let me know. I have a playdate and will most certainly be purchasing. Congrats on the release!

This same pixel sampling can be used to make tank wars/worms type games where you can destroy terrain by drawing circles where explosions happen that change the colour of the image.

The games you made would be good for a Gameboy or Gameboy Advance system I also think there is even a way to make text-based games on the Playdate. I have a few text-based game ideas online, but hopefully I can turn them into a video game soon. I still have my Gameboy Advance, and I barely bought a GB300 a handheld game system that has a lot of classic retro games some work but others don't. I might buy the Playdate one day.
