Reincarnated is a fanmade game based on Garten of Banban, the Indie Mascot Horror game based on the likes of Bendy and the Ink Machine, Poppy Playtime, Choo Choo Charles, and Five Nights at Freddy's has taken then internet by storm. In today's video we attempt to recreate the game in ONLY A WEEK with ZERO game development experience. We're calling it Reincarnated.

i haven't finished the devlog yet, but jeez this was actually amazing, this is how you should actually make an horror game, with passion, effort and creativity, even the poster art had effort put into them they even have some charm put into them which would mean they would actually appeal to kids, the setting is also pretty good, its actually dark which makes it feel like you shouldn't be there, all the assets actually feel like they belong together, opila's play place actually looks like an play place and also looks fun, there's also an cafeteria since this is an school, the animations reasonably feel abit rough, since this was made in aweek, also i do really like how JJ is now in a chef uniform, since he is supposed to be one that teaches you about eating healthy, also just an small detail, but i do like how you called this reincarnated, since in the original game, the game over tells you to press E to be *reincarnated* , first an banger fnf mod, and now an whole fire fan game, also the chase theme was an banger

Honestly, I love this. Garten of Banban is finally a pretty scary game. I also love your concepts on Opila Bird and especially Jumbo Josh, I love how he's the chef now because he felt empty in the original, and him being the chef kinda fits (I mean, he wasn't being ANYTHING unique), also the fact that Chef Pig, a fanmade exists makes him feel unimportant compared to him. I also look forward for more lore about Julie Winters (The ex-chef of the kindergarten) The only thing is that we can't see Jumbo at the end, the end cutscene was too fast. I can't wait for chapter 2, I'm looking forward to what you have in store!

I finally watched your gameplay and had to admit how you give it all to improve the graphic much better than the original, and in such a short time. Letting the surrounding dark is definitely terrifying, in the good way for horror. Although I haven't seen much of the mascot redesign in this playthrough but if you have a plan to expand to next chapter, I'd love to see them a bit more. Overall, you're doing a great job, Mason.

Wow, this is way better than the original game. Well, maybe the chase sequence start is too abrupt, but it is a minor thing. Everything else is top-notch. I especially like posters. They look more organic than speech bubbles. Character design is also greatly improved. May I suggest alternatives to the drone mechanic? Buttons could be simply replaced with solar panels that need to be charged with a flashlight, or the drone could be reworked into a boomerang-like tool that can fetch items from unreachable places.

Absolutely love this game. I did have a few ideas you could add to it from what I've seen from let's play+your video explaining how you made it: - maybe some text at the beginning saying what date it is and why your there? I know you said the game takes place in 2023 and that's why it's all abandoned so having that context for players who didn't see the video may help! I know this was made in a week, but if you revist maybe add some like, rat corpses around the building, having been pecked by opila bird? Like you walk and hear a crunch so you look down and find a rat that's been pecked to death and feasted on? For the tube with opila in. Maybe add a vent so after she turns away, when you go into the room the vent rattles? Implying she is in there. Another with opila: instead of the wall break, you could have it be an animation of her eating something, she turns, sees the player, and then starts running. Maybe it's just my devices but I can barely see jumbojosh at the end. These aren't a dis to you as a developer. This game is an amazing step up from the og and looks really well in the time frame it was made it! I think adding these little details could make the game standout more and be easier to follow.

I personally think the game is both a insult and an amazing work done. The fact that it's made under just a week and already made a game with more fleshed out visuals, acting like a dunk on the original game ; the same reason that this is an amazing work done by someone with zero game development experience
