Miles' ignorant smugness is unbearable. The James III story is literally an impossibility for this kid to have gotten all that obscure and very particular information correct by coincidence. The ignorance of Miles on this topic, in the face of undeniable evidence, is infuriating. People like him are what hold back human progression. "NOPE!" *covers ears, closes eyes, and shakes head*

These shows are awesome, I hope he NEVER have this Miles guy on again. The best part about subject matter like this is suspending disbelief for a bit and enjoying the thought experiment. This Miles guys sucked the fun out of all of it. Constantly interrupting to put in his smug, condescending “I’m the smartest guy in the room at all times” comments, totally derailing the flow of the stories. You’re right, it is infuriating.

It wasn't funny, not at all. It was condescending and arrogant. He had way too much criticism of the parents. The host did a great job. So did the other guest. But Miles kept ruining it with the mean and dismissive things he kept saying.

How to ruin a podcast. What is the aim for the two guests, if they don't add to it. That Miles should be banned to put foot everywhere in any pod there isn't just any reason for him to attend. He ruin a good thing. Every single comment agree with that, surely we can't be all wrong???? Pity 😤

When I was 40 I was diagnosed with a giant hemangioma hanging off my left liver. They are considered a type of birthmark, birthmarks are thought to be sometimes marks of death wounds from a previous life. I had nightmares as a child being shot in the stomach with a shotgun among other nightmares of moments prior and after death including being in pools of blood and being stuck in a cemetery. Other crazy stuff that's kinda hard to write about etc... I've never really talked about this a lot but this subject is fascinating to me...

So yeah, dunno how I stumbled upon this. I'm from a Mormon background and my husband is from a Muslim background. Neither of us ever thought about reincarnation at all until our son (2nd child) was born. Our daughter was your typical baby. Son didn't talk until about 2.5, and spoke in full sentences. We lived in China and now Iran, so bowties are not a thing. He's always been obsessed. As soon as he could talk, he started telling weird stories about driving the car through the desert with his friends and the sand blowing in (he'd never seen a desert). He also told us how he had a heart attack in a hospital and the doctors tried to bring him back, but they failed. His spirit floated out and he saw his body. He stopped talking about these things by the time he turned 4 or so. I honestly have no idea what it means. He still acts like a little old man. It definitely raised a few eyebrows among religious family members, and my husband and I are more open to reincarnation being a possibility... but who knows what happens after you die. I mostly just care that I'm a good mom for him during this life.

I remember asking my sister, while we were singing and dancing to a Strawberry Shortcake children's audio cassette tape, ”Do you remember when we were alive before, but we died? ” ... and then my baby sister said, "I do!! ” to which I replied, " No, you weren't there, but Mom was, only she was my sister! ” So, I am a believer in "being born again, which is how God has given us an everlasting life through love and reproduction, our soul, or spirit, that's in our core can live on and on." 💓 Consider the logic of being a I clearly remember this conversation.

I've heard of a ton of parents say that their kid will say weird things about previously being someone else. Most parents will just say "weird" or "they've got such an imagination" and move on and eventually forget about it, as does the child... I think there's definitely something going on though, imagine if we took spiritual things more seriously and actually explored them and didn't ridicule people, this stuff happens WAY MORE than the average person realizes

Right? I think you hear about it less with black families in the US because they do not tend to call in professionals who might come in and judge them or their kids.

That one dude trying way too hard. It's so corny. The guest without glasses is genuinely hard to listen to. I'm not even a big believer in all this but every time he interrupted it was pointless and added nothing. Then he'd say "continue" like what he just did wasn't annoying af 😂😂😂😂

It's funny - I came to the comments to see if anyone else complained about Miles, but nope - EVERYONE complained about him. Honestly ruined what should have been an amazing show and discussion. I'm reminded of Step Brothers, where Rob Riggle's character tells Will Ferrell "I don't know what it is about your face, but I just want to punch it!" Yep, that's how we all feel about Miles now.

My family are practitioners of Tibetan Buddhism and my grandmother, who had passed away about a year before my cousin was born, is said to have had reincarnated into the body of said cousin. My family have all witnessed the same behaviors and pattern of speech my grandmother possessed before she passed. A really funny example is when she was about 3, gave my dad an earful about how he never bothers visiting them back in Tibet using (adult words and scolding him as a mother would do with her child). He had successful escaped a China occupied Tibet hadn't been able to go back for 15 sum years at the time for context.

One day while playing with my sisters young son he found a penny on the floor, picked it up and said, "a penny for sins". I was very surprised because I know Catholics used to pay to have sins forgiven. I asked him 3 times. What did you say. He repeated it. I then asked so where did you hear that? He said I dont know.

FYI, what makes a watchdog is not its size, but its ability to watch and alert. Little toy Pomeranians are known to be Watch Dogs! Also, don't get this confused with a guard dog, which is different from a watchdog.
