Sir bakit po sa effective depth (d) yung CC lang po binawas? Hindi po ba ibabawas din ang half po ng bar size?

It really depends kung san naka specify sa problem. Yung sa code kasi, basta naka sabi concrete covering sya, pero hnd malinaw kung sa gitna ba nung bakal ng ties, or ng main bar. Usually, pag flexural ang kinacalculate, naka distance sya dun sa center ng longi bars. Pero you still need to verify pag sa actual practice na.

Sir pano po kapag nasa gitna ng dalawang two way slab yung one way slab, diba both ends contonuous po siya, pano po makukuha yung moments, applicable po ba yung coefficients kahit hindi two way slab po yung nasa both sides?

Yung coefficient method was conceptualized talaga for Two-way slabs wherein the moment and shear in both directions are accounted for. Since one-way slab resist moment in one direction lang, I would suggest using the conventional approach na hinahanap yung max moment from loadings then get the required reinforcement.

@@engrgab sorry , I mean yung coefficient po ng moments for continuous beams and one way slabs. Pero yung sa conventional po, kapag both end continuous considered po ba as fixed both sides? Then kunin yung moments?
