It’s one of my favorite flowers. I think we talked about it when I was still your online English tutor. In our place, we call it kalachuchi, and I used to climb the kalachuchi tree when I was a little girl and I would draw the flowers. We also make garlands from kalachuchi flowers that we use when dancing to the tune of pearly shells

@TammyHawaii I don’t dance anymore, but my mother and the other seniors in our small community love to dance to the tune of pearly shells, and we call it here as the Hawaiian dance

Recently, I also cut my hair short. It was already down to my waist, but now it’s shoulder-length. It’s unruly because it’s curly, unlike yours which look really neat and great on you.

Aloha Joy😊 I used to have long hair that reached my waist, but I've been cutting it shorter and shorter since last year. My hair is straight, so I long for curly hair. I like how easy it is to shampoo and dry short hair. I'm going to lighten my hair color at the end of this month. It's fun to change my hairstyle😉

@TammyHawaii i find it hard to manage my short hair but I had to cut it short because It was becoming dry, and there are more hair fall when it’s long. It’s really ironic that you long for curly hair, while I have always wanted straight hair haha. I tried hair rebonding but after 2 times of doing it, I stopped because It only damaged my hair and scalp. A few months later, it’s curly again, so I just decided to accept my curly hair.

When my hair was long, I used to wear curlers every day because I found straight hair boring. It's funny how we were struggling with opposite issues. I also accepted my straight hair and made it short😊

みどり先生、コメントマハロ ❤️ 先生と生徒さんでコロナ前に我が家でプルメリアレイを作った時には、このプルメリアの木は、まだ小さくてジェニファーの家のプルメリアでレイ作りましたね。今年の春にいらした時には、少ししか咲いていなくてレイは作れなかったけど、プルメリア花な162個も花取れる木に成長しました😊毎日、次々花開いてます💕

auntykiele7022さん、コメントマハロ ❤️ 火事の警報が鳴る前に沢山鳥が空を飛んで逃げてましたから、野生動物達は危険を察知する能力が優れていたので逃げられたと思います。元いた場所には帰れなくても、カウアイ島には素晴らしい自然が沢山ありますから、新しい住処を見つけられたと思います。 我が家のワンコ達も煙の匂いに怯えて庭に出ませんでしたから、人間より危機感を感じていたと思います。 ヘアスタイル褒めてくださり嬉しいです😊似合わないと思ってしなかったショートヘアですが気に入ってます。
