Reinstalling a Ferrari F430 Transmission

Making more progress on Josh's Ferrari F430 project, we get the transmission reinstalled in this video. We also attach the drive shafts, replace the fuel pumps, and spark plugs. This car is going to be basically a new car when we're all done with it.

Getting a transmission lined up right is always filled with discouraging words. The most fun one that I've done was a 1996 Ford F350 crew cab diesel dually. On a driveway. With a healthy slope to it. That tested my patience a lot.

Alright, so on a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the most difficult, how would you rate doing JUST the clutch job? This is for someone who has done headers, exhaust, fuel pumps, valve cover gaskets and variator solenoids, brakes, ball joints… is it a 10 because it’s ultimately the biggest job to do? I’m not due yet… But I’m trying to determine if when the time comes, I’m going to tackle this myself or not. IME, any independent shop I’ve used always misses or fucks something up (the more I do myself, the more weird oopsies I find that some other shop did)… So as much as I’d like to punt this to someone else, I’m starting to think the only people I’d trust to do the job is me or you guys. Ha
