Reintroducing the lynx to Scotland - Can we reintroduce lynx to Scotland?

I would love to see the Lynx reintroduced to the Scotland and the UK as a whole and I personally think that it's only a matter of time before it happens tbh,it makes sense in so many aspects that to not reintroduce the lynx would be a missed opportunity to try to rebalance the ecosystem,sometimes I feel that we over analyse the topic,I can't help but think why not just reintroduce the lynx in an area that has been deemed suitable and let nature take its course.i know there's prob a strong argument against that but I can't help but think it,Lynx are a very adaptable and successful animal and I'm sure they would overcome initial 'teething' problems. Farmers have been successfully compensated for any losses in other countries so that issue shouldn't be a problem on the Social side.
