I love to reupholster my lamp shades.When my daughter, her plaid wolen skirts were smaller ,i use it for the lampshades.which came out beautiful.Thanks for giving new life back to lovely items that you enjoyed. Hey Cindy, those were some creative n cute DIY’s. I’ve been thinking about your little birdie. I thought it look pretty good. Since you placed it on the brass candle holder I was thinking if you added some of gold to the bird. The gilding wax or your gold foil. Seeing the holder has some silver on it. Just a thought. I really like the lamp shade idea. Only thing I can’t figure out how you get the electrify to it? I didn’t see the cord going through the chain. Then again maybe I need to go back n watch the video again. Your corbels turned out really sharp looking, very pretty. Enjoyed the video a lot. ♥️♥️😊👍👍👍🌟

Thanks for the idea about the little bird Shelly 😊 ask for the lights I have exterior extension cords that run up and over my pergola and it threads back to an electrical source on my back patio. I have a black cord so it doesn’t show on the pergola. And the front porch I got a long extension cord in tan that runs behind the trim around my front windows and down to another electrical source in the corner of my front porch. I hope that explains it!🥰

This is such a fun video to watch! I actually like how you skip around from project to project! I do the same thing when I’m doing projects! I find it very freeing to not have a set way to work but to ‘give my brain a chance to revive’ between projects. I’ve done this ‘jumping’ around on other things: cooking, house cleaning, working out. I like it!!

The bird. Stiple on some green paint in a few places for verdis gris effects. Then stiole on taupe and cream paint to replicate an old statue of concrete. Incentive lanps!

Hi Cindy, just wanted you to know and thank you for the great tip about the hidden Gem Wilderlove in Greenwood, Delaware. In your video, you panned around the shop and showed a container holding china cups and saucers. In that quick moment, I spotted some of my vintage cup patterns. So I drove up on Saturday from Salisbury. I did manage to purchase a few of the cups (would have bought them all) but they unfortunately had no saucers to match. I was sad, but so enjoyed looking at all the neat things they had for sale. I also visited the Treasure Trove across the street. Also, I hit the Goodwill in Bridgeville. All and all it was a good trip, so thanks again. I did tell the girls at the counter that I had seen their shop on your channel. So thanks again.

Great idea with the wts. I bought a couple of 2 lbs wts at a thrift store and they are a mismatched pair. I will paint them like you did and they will be more pleasing to use and look at. I also have bat wings due to 48 lbs wt loss and age. I do a lot of arm exercises and it is slowly tightening my arms up.😊 It is also important to gradually go up on your wts as you get stronger to continue increase strength and muscle mass. 💪 I love all your projects. My favorites are the frame and the bird feeder.

Just paint over the little bird. I’d make it a lighter gray or brown, do the baking soda but not so thick . Dab it on again, to give a more concrete look. Or go over your bird with dark glaze.
