Prep the apples and place them in a 9x13 casserole dish. Pour crumble mix overtop. Bake at 350* approx 45-50 til apples are tender. Drizzle with store-bought caramel sauce of your choice! The green pot is gorgeous! So is the lamp. The long board with grooves could be reversible. I would make a pumpkin on the groove side and Christmas on the back side. The hat could also be used for a scarecrow and for summer. Loved the ipad holder too. I guess I liked everything,lol❤

I shop often with a specific item in mind, but I rarely leave a goodwill without looking over the wood aisle, the dishes, and baskets. We'll, to be more accurate, I usually take a quick glance in every aisle except clothing. I do buy clothes at Goodwill but only if I'm in need of something. The green lamp is a wonderful find. The price was almost too good to be true. What a blessing. I have 2 similar lamps in my home.

A Girl after my own heart ❤.. I love going to goodwill and browsing the cookbook, basket and the wrought iron sections. I am in the process of finishing up my garden shed and have been collecting things for a few years now. Super excited as the doors came in a few days ago and I finished the air spraying of painting the interior yesterday. Whoof,, that was an experience and I’m glad it’s over.🙌

I would like to have a goodwill that has good merchandise that isn't priced like a retail store! The same with out thrift store! The things they have are mostly junky, except the clothes. The lamp at the end is lovely!

I’ve heard some of the Goodwill stores are pricey. Fortunately ours is still reasonable. I’m excited to fix up the lamp!

I check glassware first, then artwork and home decor. A quick scan of the childrens books for Little Golden Books to add to my hoard. I hardly look at clothing.

I love the fact you used a bone dish for the apple crisp. At least that’s what my granny called them! Lol Great video! Beautiful outdoor at night with the sounds of nature singing to us! Adding because you asked us! I love old architecture wood pieces and have fun reinventing them! Wood is a passion of mine. I found some kiln dried bloodwood and it is simply beautiful. It is red all through the wood! I am making a riser out of it using parts from an old corner display bookshelf for the feet. I have made several out of different types of wood. Where do ai find the special woods? Our antique store near our town has plenty to choose from. I also collect old wooden handle tools! At 67 years old I still love wood!

Yes, that is a bone dish! I have a set of six in that pattern and I found them out thrifting. It's fun to use the ironstone pieces I find! Your piece of dried bloodwood sounds amazing! I've never heard of it! Now you have started me thinking about old wooden tool handles - it's going to be fun to look for them especially at auctions and flea markets Yay for 67!! I'm only a few years behind you. Let's continue to be love wood!

Love that lamp. Great idea trading with your daughter. I have a shade that goes to that type of lamp. Its color is more like the Jadeite. I keep hoping I’d find one. I thought you did pretty good at Goodwill. Yes, I too head to the wood area then I continue to check everything else out even the furniture it’s made of wood too you know. Sometimes I’ll check out the tops. I don’t have much luck in the pants. I wear a size 2 or smaller n Goodwill hardly ever has that size LOL. Bench looks so nicely painted a green. Reminds me I need to redo mine. It’s been just too hot here in Florida n right now we’ve got hurricane Helene. Pretty sure it’s not heading my way but we will get lots rain n wind. I’m so ready for October. I’m over this heat. Looking forward to seeing your makeovers. ♥️♥️♥️😊👍👍👍👍🌟🥰

those crazy shoes would look good as planters with (fake) succulents, donkey's tail, string of pearls, etc. I say fake because the shoes seem too shallow to root in and won't drain. plus I have a black thumb
