Dear Mancoba😇 Hi I am so glad that i stumbled upon your u-tube channel. My daughter's step is currently stuck on "Awaiting valid registration data from institution". Now the problem is she said that she is not sure whether she put in the name of the 1st university (for instance UWC) on the NSFAS application. While she finally got accepted and attending Stellenbosch now.. And we wondering might if that might be the problem that her status is still stuck on that because she typed in the wrong University? Good morning I believe you are well. That means NSFAS is funding the student but awaiting for the university (where your daughter applied, accepted and registered at) to send the registration data to NSFAS.

Hi thanks for this video it really helped me Once I’ve gotten the tick on Funding eligibility, I can use it to do my registration meaning I won’t have to pay for it right? NSFAS will pay the registration right? Also another thing is Let’s say I get funded in February And I decide to go find accommodation in March will nsfas still be able to fund me? Or would I have to wait for next year again once when I sign the agreement with nsfas to put in the accommodation lease too? Thanks a lot

Good morning I believe you are well. If the Funding Eligibility is ticked, it means you do not have to pay for registration fee and any institution (public). Anytime you get accommodation, you acknowledge you institutions so that they can guide you with the steps to take in order to receive the allowance.

Dear Mr mancoba Good day Mr mancoba thank you for the video but then I need help with my nsfas.i am doing my second year in the university of Johannesburg and in my first year I had Nsfas and they did cover my fees both my registration and my res resignation and I have been getting my allowance.they also payed for my registration this year both my academic and residential registration but when the list came out I couldn't find my student number there and they have been sending me messages that's I am unblocked and I can register but my student number is not there so I am a Lil bit confused

The students then go to swap to their accommodations.
