The song that started it all for me.
At the age of 9 my father played me this song and it was then I knew that this is what I'm going to do with my life - become a musician!
I'm very happy I got my life goal set at such an early age and I haven't changed my mind yet.
And it's been 25 years now!
This is my tribute to Gary Moore and a way for me to thank him for being my biggest inspiration in life, when it comes to music.

This brought on memories of making a whole 90min tape of just one Gary Moore song & falling asleep to it every night (on an off brand Walkman, this was Balkans lol). It wasn't this one, but y'know.. it stays with you forever. And even though I may not understand shit about music theory, I cried to many of his songs over the years, and also when he passed. He knew how to wake up emotions even in a child, freshly looking at the wicked world around it. English wasn't even needed, just those notes played on a guitar.

More and more songs of my teenage times are more actual than ever. There was a huge peace movement back in the 80s, its influence is heard in the songs of this time. Sad, that we fell asleep and thougt the earth is ok now. Indeed, this is a great cover. I appreciated it. Quite honestly Tommy, that is one of the best covers I've ever heard of Out In The Fields. And it's also one of the most poignant songs you could cover right now with the world as it is. You have an incredible vocal range and you could have so easily overpowered the lyrics that all meaning would have been lost. So I really appreciate your more subtle vocals for this one. And I really love the perspective down the neck of the Charvel, because it gives casual fans the chance to appreciate how intricate your playing really is and it gives learners and others interested in the instrument some valuable information.
