Since I first found Tommy Johansson in January, he had 200k subscribers. Now at this point it is 240k, growing about 3k a week. He should have lots more!!! Why this beyond amazing musician is not better known professionally internationally is incomprehensible. He makes songs that I never liked before, like this one, into songs that I play over and over again. Here is hoping that he and Majestica have every success on a huge scale in the future.

Another Fri-YAY, another masterpiece from Maestro Johansson! Taking on Ace of Base can be a tricky proposition if not handled properly. Needless to say, Tommy crushes this one out with his usual panache and finely tuned metal instincts and sensibilities. It's nice to finally hear Ace of Base get 'Tommyfied' in this amazing 'Johanssonized' version of their iconic tune. His full-on throaty notes right at the end really help finish off the song quite nicely! His impressive guitar shredding on the solo, with the nicely handled hammer-on technique, just sealed the deal.
