Iron man gauntlet + Unibeam will forever be my favorite OP thing. It was the original recon scanner + rail gun, but the only one on the map. Gauntlets, if shot above enemy’s head, acted as unlimited flare gun. You could also hover and fly for height. Plus unlimited ammo. Plus auto-aim lasers that hit 40.

It isn't the chapter 2 season 5 drum gun, because there were no drum guns during that season, it's the chapter 2 season 2 Midas' drum gun that was OP and after watching your video for a while I now realise that you were talking about the chapter 1 season 5 drum gun.

The reason that it wasn't nerfed is that, in casual zero build (as opposed to competitive build), it, along with every other mobility item, is actually UNDERpowered. (though it's still better than nothing) This is why zero build items and build items need to be balanced differently, even to the point of having different stats between versions. it's the only way to keep Fortnite balanced for both versions.

The medallion has been nerfed actually, if you look back in the patch notes you're able to see that by dropping the medal and picking it back up it refreshed your dashes and youd have another one, this could easily be seen in some early chapter 5 season 2 footage from cooper who i vividly remember using this strat, it didn't last very long because it was patched out but it used to be way stronger

The sniper had a lot of nerfs but not the medallion for some reason. I think if all the water areas were green this season it would have been more balanced or at least if players could of siphoned the dashes from other players that had them. The mythic shotty should have been at a different poi also to balance things out more and the zones could have been adjusted so they didn’t pull so far. Would love to see Clix and Epik or another duo near by loot up and try to third party them on south and east pulling zones when Peterbot has to rotate.

The craziest part is that people seem to like high mobility items with insanely low risk or skill expression. This is almost every mobility item. One of the most frustrating experiences is fighting someone, dominating them, then having them just promptly run away with no risk or skill whatsoever. Why do you think every Melee weapon that was considered viable either completely OP or had mobility built into their kit? It's because Epic sucks at making Melee weapons that aren't completely OP in terms of damage or in terms of mobility. Nobody would pick up a melee weapon that's balanced or that doesn't have mobility because that means it requires more thinking then pressing a button and profiting.

I always play unranked ZB squads fill, drop grim, get medal+shot, rotate to underworld (if zone isn't there yet), get the other medallion, and give agility to a tm8 if they're decent. (I always end up getting 2/3 of team kills so I prefer siphon)

I cant wait for this season to be over, the dashes aren’t fun to use or have used against me. The underworld having skull dashes in the water has made it my least favorite POI/Biome of all time. It’s so lame how spammy the dashes are, how people run with them, or how it makes fights more chaotic and harder to track where everyone is. There have been so many fun mobility items in Fortnite and it has sucked playing a season without any of them. I miss the grapple blade, it was literally perfect. (Ps not counting air bending because it’s limited time and about to go away, but it was nice while it lasted)

I agree, the grapple blade from last season was perfect, you could damage opponents with it too if you were in a pinch and needed to reload. This day and age in Fortnite I don't know why its still a good idea to have such overpowered items like the grim gate medallion. Even if you have all 3 other medallions its nearly impossible to win a fight with an experienced player using the dashes.

The Agility Medallion is up there when it comes to being overpowered, but the Overclocked Pulse Rifle definitely beats it here. I mean, this thing did 38 damage and had a fire rate of 7, dealing 238.5 DAMAGE PER MAG. And the reload time was only 2.68s! meaning you could shred an ENTIRE TEAM with just one of these things! Plus the ADS of the pulse rifle being like a pseudo Infantry Rifle, Dealing 58 damage with a fire rate of 3.5, This thing would BEAM at long ranges with no damage drop-off. But thats not the end of it, Because Pre-Nerf, In Squads, you could get 4 OF THEM. AN ENTIRE SQUAD WITH THESE THINGS. needless to say, this thing absolutely SHREDDED people. It did get nerfed, nerfing its fire rate from 7 to 6.25 and you could only get two of them in squads, but that really didnt do anything. Yeah this thing was BUSTED back then

I feel like the most overpowered item is the Ares AR. As someone who always used to lane from gate, the medallion is great, but you hit someone with 5 shots from the 45 shot magazine of the Ares weapon and they’re done for.

i wouldn't say it was the most Op thing, For me, when I think of the most broken item, I think of something that is broken for any player that had it, that any player can just abuse. While that medallion definitely can fit that, some people are just not good at using it, and won't be able to make the most of it. But still though, it was for sure broken Edit: After watching part of the video, I'm starting to see how you defined it as OP. Makes sense now, and I agree with that.
