So glad you reviewed this! Going to see if I can get the cc cream. I was very surprised with the wind up eyeliner wayyyyy better than any I’ve tried before like my maybeline and hourglass. Stays on all day which is unheard of for my skin. Definitely a hidden gem.

I think mediocre packaging by high end brands is an intentional rip-off to increase profit margin. I think Jill Stuart is more mid-high price point, rather than luxury, but her packaging looks embarrassingly cheap in person and much of it looks like little girl play makeup. I bought a really lovely - on my screen- limited edition two-color Jill Stuart lipstick, and ended up giving it to my 10 year old niece. For my money, Carolina Herrera has the most beautiful, fun, design driven and high quality packaging, though product performance is about 8/10. The doorstopper weight Pat McGrath full size Motherships and thick enamel over metal lipstick cases also justify her prices. Then again, there’s the drugstore level packaging of Koh Gen Do, but the foundations and powders are so holy-grail-amazing in quality and performance that I don’t even care about the packaging.

it's def nice makeup but it's so expensive lol. Chinese makeup can have the same or better quality and design but cheaper
