Kratos is the personification of Sigma male mindset till the Gods almost turned him mad then he became an Alpha male leading the titans to war and almost destroying all of Greece, we must understand he was born as a warrior and with a different mindset, he was born for war since his birth, he lost his brother, he lost his mother which Zeus turned her into a monster and Kratos was forced to kill her, in a blind killing spree he killed his wife and child because Ares tricked him, he abandoned again his wife and child to save the world but with the sacrifice that he will never be able to see them again, he died a lot of times and came back to the world of the living either by his own or with help, he was a leader and god of his people which he lost after Zeus destroyed Sparta and even if he returned back in time to fight Zeus whatever happened still happened because that one soldier that talks with Kratos never came back so i believe Sparta still is in ruins, he killed Athena which is important because she was something like a teacher to him and family figure, from then he became almost insane and full of rage and sieged Olympus with the Titans and the slaughter begun, he killed one of the most important gods Poseidon which surely fueled Kratos with arrogance and pride, then he lost to Zeus and got betrayed by Gaia which was a really huge moment for Kratos, he went to the underworld again, reunited with Athena but lost trust in her after she said her motives, killed another head of the gods Hades, he became reminiscent of his daughter because of Pandora, he killed Hephaestus which Kratos trusted him, he banged the sexy goddess Aphrodite which must been a moment of relaxation and love after so much torture he got through, he became very confused and sad with the decision to let Pandora kill herself to let Kratos have the power of Hope because she reminds him of his daughter and then the most important event of all him fighting his father Zeus in an all out battle full of rage and hate, Zeus making him seeing his traumatic past all over again and then Kratos experiencing Hope and Rage like he never had in his whole life punching the King of Gods maniacally till his face and skull get erased from existence, then in a last moment of silence he says fuck off to Athena and lets Hope to get released so humanity can prevail, Kratos though survived because his destiny even if he doesn't believe at it after of his ordeals has great plan's for him and for his new son Atreus and maybe for all the new friends and family members he will have in the future, in the end the story of God of War is really important to what defines us as people, saying he is a sigma or alpha or whatever in the end he is a man, a being, a warrior, a God, a father, he doesn't need a title when he has them all into one, he is truly a god among gods and a man among men, nobody will ever reach the feats or the mindset which Kratos has as a character, he is a symbol and when the franchise ends once and for all he will always be remembered as one of the most famous character in gaming history because it felt too real, to us it felt real and made us learn lessons in life.
