First of all, great to hear the vlog in English, I hope your Swedish followers won't be sad about the change and for followers from other countries it's obviously great, I don't recall any other Swedish skier doing vlog in English (Jens have subtitles tho). Second, sad to hear your story with national team, especially in context of recent thing of Calle in Ruka, where he was DSQ because team didn't tell him what the track limit is, so another example of bad communication. I hope you will be given the opportunity to race in WC sooner or later. Good luck champ 💪

For a spectator it clearly looks as there are camps in the eyes of the national team or arrangers of FIS races. They devide skiers as the good camp, meaning skiers who skate and use kickwax and stand in line waiting to jump in on wc races, they should also be happy with no financial compensation of course. Then there is the bad camp, people who double poles races (we are now talking about truly evil characters), maybe they also belong to some professional teams and actually train more hours a year than the good camp. People from the bad camp must at all cost be kept away from WC races. One could think that in times where WC status and money are in a free fall downwards, that attitudes of breaking down this camp division would be the case and an inclushion stategy would appear, but no. I guess they are too busy digging the grave for their organization… Focus on skiclassics, dont get down due to their exclusion, it says more about their attitude then your speed.

On the non-selection: take away that you did your best and clearly demonstrated that you would be up to the task - not sure WC skiers would be that good in SC 😉

After many bad choices from the FIS, ski classics is set to replace WC, so you still are on the good side of history ;) private teams are the future .... but everyone who knows a little about cross country skiing can see you have been screwed. P.S: don't worry about the not-selection to world cup currently. Soon, they can't oversee you again, that is for sure. It is a shame, that a lot of federations still don't recognize, that Ski Classics and lots of stars of this circuit are on the fast lane!

Whereas my sympathy as an avid. XC skier and observer of the sport doesn't amount to much, why isn't the obvious as stated by Mr. Peter Northug given the weight it deserves by the Swedish National XC Ski Team? (As an American who speaks decent Swedish, your English is more than effective for a vlog. So get back to chronicling your experiences right away, even now while you are frustrated, until your chance comes again.)
