I feel as though the listener would nod in joy Because if Sebastian is acting more of a father figure to Ciel than his own daughter, then I could only imagine the amount of jealousy or neglect they feel about watching her (our) father do things she wished she had too. Maybe both Alois and the listener have something in common, yearning for something they don't have and wanting to cause pain to the same person, for the same reason they are unhappy. Which leads me to believe that the listener won't really care about Sebastian's death IF he were to die, but it also makes sense as to why the listener wants ciel's soul (possibly to kill him) but Sebastian prevents that which causes more hate

I think Alois and the listener could greatly bond with each other. Both of them long for a father(-figure) and both are neglected. Their conditions are quite a bit different but I can see the listener growing also jealous over Sebastian being much more a father figure for Ciel than his own daughter and Alois desiring fatherlic treatment from Claude. I can't really tell fully if the listener is envious over Ciel because of Sebastian's fatherly behaviour (that actually should be given to us, as we are his literal daughter and we obviously need some love and attention and affection) and since the listener somehow also has feelings for Ciel, but it would make sense and an even greater story. They both share neglect and (perhaps?) jealousy.

Lot of drama here. We start sympathizing with Alois, but right when we do, then they too go against us. And it’s twice as painful, since most of us probably want to fix what Claude did to Alois because of how it resembles with Sebastian did with us. So dramatic and I love it.
