Having become one of House music’s hottest rising talents, releasing on esteemed imprints including Cajual, Avotre, MadTech, his very own Origins amongst a heavy touring schedule which has seen him play at Manchester’s The Warehouse Project, Toffler Rotterdam, Amnesia Ibiza and a plethora of festivals. Today Josh returns to Joris Voorn and Edwin Oosterwal’s Rejected imprint following up his ‘Link’ EP on the label from 2016.
Title-track ‘Stratagem’ takes the lead via upfront heavily swung rhythms and chugging bass stabs alongside echoing vocal murmurs and subtly evolving square wave bass and soft chord hits that ebb and flow throughout the groove.
‘Punt’ follows and tips the vibe into deeper realms with airy atmospherics, rumbling subs and filter vocal licks before ‘Psilocybin’ takes things stripped-back focusing on shuffled percussion, spiralling dub stabs and hooky vocal shots.

Rejected was founded in 2006 by Joris Voorn and Edwin Oosterwal. Together with the launch of their producers outfit Rejected they decided to start their own imprint. With the very first release, Rejected set a standard for high quality dance floor fodder. It was only uphill from there, releasing one club hit after another and signing some of the most cutting edge names in contemporary house and techno.
