I have the Nuball. I have "baked" more than 30 balls and it works great. Usually it takes 2 - 3 hours to "de-oil" a ball.

I have the NuBall, too. You need to be careful that you are only leeching the oil and not the plastisizer in the coverstock. If you stay around 120-125 degrees for 60-75 minutes, you're good. Any higher and/or longer, the plastizer starts to leech, too, and the performance of the ball will change.

As a bowler myself... There's so much to answer to their questions. It's not the simple to answer in a way where someone who doesn't bowl can easily understand. That's why we make bowling comparisons and references to golf, or car tires for racing. Easier for others to understand. But the fact that they just kept talking and talking was annoying. But nonetheless, that's probably their obnoxious personality on the show, Wylie kept it short and simple just to say something lol. Great product though, I have one too

I hope my bowling ball is ok. I accidentally fell asleep while it was baking and it was in there for 10 hours 😭.

These people don’t know what they’re talking about only the pro shop guy is the only one that knows what his talking about
@NeilTruick3 жыл бұрын
That may be true, but also remember the pro shop guy is trying to separate you from your money as easily as possible, so you need to make him work a little. P.S. Urethane balls don't absorb oil. Oil builds up on urethane balls. Reactive resin balls absorb oil.

@@NeilTruickreactive resin balls are urethane with additives
@asdsadsd-db6xx7 ай бұрын
@@TheHabstrick yeap. The proshop guy did explained it in the video. The misconception with people is that reactives are totally different from urethane but in fact it is just urethane with added plasticizers and that is what makes a reactive bowling ball.

At the professional level they just go drill a new ball 😂
