@@mariyumgee7515 till 1955, in mashriq Panjab, jyaadatar taleem urdu zabaan main hi hua karti thee. Mere Waalden, dono urdu pad aur likh sakte hain and infact mere naana aur daada ke saath khato-khitaab bhi urdu main hi hua karta tha. Basically panjabi is spoken with an urdu tinge. Main kabhie kabhie mazaak main apni zabaan ko "Purdu" bol deta hoon (Panjabi + Urdu). Roz marrah ki aam zabaan main jisme hum log baatien karte hain....bataana mushkil ho jaata hai ki falaan lafz kis zabaan ka hai aur falaan lafz kis zabaan ka. Shayad yahi khubsurti thi humare khitte ki jahan itni saari cultures aur zabaanon ka mixture banaa. Khushi hui aapse milke.....:)
