The shield symbol is in all modes, but it was added on this patch and it wasn't in patch notes (at least not initially, idk if it was added later). I know it because Kryptek talked about it on AndrewChicken's stream.

seriously considering quitting the game. it was a lot of fun and I became very invested but with the unplayable servers, toxic players and the godawful amount of quitters (80% of my games in in 4v5 or 3v5s) it brings me almost no joy anymore. it just makes me sad :( why won't they fix the issues? it can't be that hard

I'd take a break until they fix the servers. Unfortunately throwers/toxic players is kinda a staple of paladins at the moment. I always say every stream "It's not a paladins session unless one of your teammates leaves and never comes back!"

@@YellowNinja it's especially sad because last week was amazing. The new patch and this ltm were well received, the game was in a great place. But the servers not getting fixed is hurting the usually (as far as I could tell) environment
