Pro tip. Mount the tire's backwards. The wide end of the V needs to go first, not the narrow. You will get much better traction and dig less into the mud. We did this on rear tire of mountain bikes back in the late 80's

Thomas Nygard yea but rock bouncers aren't using 50+ inch tires that weight well over 2 times what they are runnig. I have respect for well built independent suspension but if a truck can break a axle shaft that is easily over 3 inches in diameter I'm pretty sure there is not many ways of going by improving the suspension

the problem that keeps arising in these bounty holes is the mud that gets stuck in the front of the trucks. If there was a half cone or something, like what the front of a boat has, most, if not all of the trucks would make it through easily.

Seems like the dually had different gearing on the two diffs. The rear tires seemed to be moving at about half the rate of the front. Wouldn't the trick be to have the rear spinning faster with more weight and the front just cutting path? Anyway, excuse my ignorance. Just commenting on what I seen on the video.
@tycobuttflex4079
@tycobuttflex4079 5 жыл бұрын
Dhime perhaps it would, but with all that weight the trucks rear would sink more and dig itself in. With front wheels that pull while the back pushes you get optimal weight and power distribution

Bear with me here but because the size of the helium molecule is smaller than air it requires more helium molecules to fill a vehicle tire. So in the end it actually becomes heavier when you use helium.
