Rekkles is actually a super nice guy... I have no idea how this guy is a pro gamer... never flames, always keeps to himself and doesn't criticize others, he's never salty, never super cocky even though he should as he's one of the candidates for best ADC in the fucking world... how the hell is he a pro gamer, I have no fucking idea... never seen any other pro player or streamer or professional gamer in any way be that nice... huge respect...

Yeah, they might rage from time to time (although I'm pretty sure they do it to entertain their viewers), but they don't dwell on it. They mostly keep calm and try to analyze their own mistakes.

"I'm starting to think waves are fcking useless in this elo" Yup, they are. It's not wave management I'm climbing with. Only time it works is when you can put up a good freeze in your lane to win. Team doesn't care about waves and will just suicide while you are trying to manage waves and just farm somehow, or you get a wave to push and the enemy team doesn't care anyway because why farm if you can stalk people in the jungle.

8:39 - "I'm starting to think that waves are useless on this elo." Splitpushing and slowpushing a side lane are things that don't matter when in the meantime the monkeys from your team are running around the map aimlessly and 2 out of the 3 total wards on the map are yours. Until recently I was a Fill main and over the course of several years this made me realize that the only 2 positions that can carry low games are mid and jungle. - As mid, you can solocarry games by just picking a mage (Oriana, Syndra), roaming and getting fed. Bot will usually just bounce between the two turrets so it's pretty easy to time your roam. The only hard part is convincing your bot to not die randomly or recall when you're halfway there. From that point you will dominate every teamfight and dictate the pace of the game. Easy wins, easy Gold/Plat, trust me. - As jungle, you can get fed to solocarry or you can feed your duo partner, or you can make sure your team takes all objectives. It's a lot harder than carrying from mid, though. And even if you do perfectly, your team can still sh*t on your efforts by still losing their lane or completely f*cking up in lategame. - You *can* also carry as support, but it has to be an AP support to compensate for the dogsh*t damage your team will be doing. My gf, who is currently Silver, ends up as top dmg in her team in 4/5 games... as Morgana. Her other choices are Lux and Zyra. Playing AP support also allows you to win the lane by yourself in the (likely) event that your ADC is garbage. In my opinion, playing ADC or Top in Gold and below is just a complete waste of time. When you're ADC, you're basically alone and cannot rely on your team for anything, not even on your support - this is something the role was built around and it simply doesn't exist in Silver. When you're Top, by the time the lane phase is over up there on "the island", the game has already gone to sh*t. Very rare are the cases when you can get so fed on top that you can tip the scales from your lost mid, bot and jungle.
@timbradshaw5481
@timbradshaw5481 4 жыл бұрын
I think you're right about mid and jungle. I think another way is to play really late game champs. As often teams don't end the game quickly. So champions like twitch, kogmaw, yuumi, maybe lulu, master yi, yasuo, kassadin Annie all seems to do well as they can get to late game and swing a losing game. Or win the game like normal if it's more equal. I played a game and went 3-15 as sion top and still got to 6 items with like a 2/12 mid laner. I really think lower elo is usually best champions late game wins. I feel once you get to low mid gold, games average at 30minutes and the strategy needs to change to win.
@douwemusic
@douwemusic 4 жыл бұрын
This is so. fucking. true. Especially in the lowest ELO where everyone is LITERALLY aram'ing at all times - your tanks/engage don't do what they're supposed to do, so as an ADC, you're fucked - And if you're the top laner tank and you DO know how to engage, the tables have turned and your team NEVER realizes you did a good engage and they stay behind and you just die and then the rest dies. Mid/Jungle just get fed and look for easy picks 24/7 because everyone is stupid and just runs into you all the time.

@@timbradshaw5481 Twitch is particularly good in low elo not only because he's a late-game champion but also because: 1) he's a hybrid assassin. You can easily pick stragglers around the map. 2) he's a good split-pusher. All ADCs are good at pushing but they all die when intercepted, which is the main point of what makes a champion a good split-pusher. When Twitch is intercepted, he just Qs away. If the interceptor is a squishy, he can just ambush them.

@@t3chn0dr0n3 Yeah I see. Another problem I'm having is the lack of engage (im Gold 2 and ranked is great people end games so fast, but when I play with friends its lower mmr, probably high silver low gold). I'll play a good ADC but no one is willing to engage so I stand around waiting lol. I don't know how to get around this. Ashe obviously is great, Sivir I seem to lose because I wait a long time for engage. Maybe forcing it with my ult. I just wonder if there's another champion or way of playing, when playing with people who wont end the game, to do well. Maybe ezreal to poke or engaging with the adc but with flash and qss to get out to start the fight.
