That's more of a UI UX Role imo. Product Design is starting a level behind to understand how well is the business doing. Are there gaps? Are we growing? Are we aquiring enough of the market? Are we loosing our current customers? if any of these kind of questions are a Yes, then dive deeper in finding out why. That's where the UX comes in? identifying if there are better solutions, why are they better? etc etc. UI UX design is the next step Habibi.

Is it possible to become a UI designer without UX design skills........Coz my passion really is into become more of a UI designer than a ux designer
@PokeFangOfficial2 ай бұрын
You can always just be a UI designer as long as your team has a UX designer that you’re willing to collaborate with and listen to. UI design without UX is akin to making art. Without success metrics you’re just making what you subjectively think looks good, and not many businesses are willing to pay you unless your work will drive revenue. For it to do that it needs to be effective UI design which is where UX comes in to inform the UI with real data that can be measured and optimized to meet business and user goals. If you sincerely only want to be a UI designer without any UX or collaboration on your designs, then you should focus on building UI resources and design elements that others can buy. For example templates and icon systems. You’ll have to be your own ceo then and learn how to market and sell your digital assets to make a living.

Look for interaction design degrees. A design-specific degree will trump an art or business degree because design is in the middle of the two!

Good day I have a footwear line and i want to be able to design my ideas because I have witness a large gap of what is in my head and the end point no matter how I illustrate it to my footwear makers. Having to learn product design would help bridge the gap. please can you help with a pathway or what kind of design pathway should I look into? I would appreciate your feedback alot

Great video! As he said, its important to know the WHY. Im a graphic designer, i studied UX/UI but never really liked it. Its just not my field. So im a graphic designer, i love the way things and products look mostly. So its important to know that maybe its not the right field for you, even if that field gives you more money.

Of course you can Aaditya. Remember to back your portfolio up with a solid product design process (take them through the journey your user research all the way to the UI design outcome). Good luck!

Ive been thinking of signing up for that course. How did you like the google’s course? Did you get any client exposure?
@msfahrenheitt45062 жыл бұрын
@@guldegirmenci8371 I'm almost done with the certificate and I think is really good, specially for people who don't know anything about UX design as a whole. They teach the entire process from research to Ui Design so even if you do have some knowledge or background on something related to UX Design (I'm a graphic designer) I believe the course is still valuable. Some of your coursework will be peer graded and that not always work, they have a sort of coach that you can email to if you have any questions which is cool and what was a really nice surprise is that they gift a Adobe XD membership for 1 year I believe as well as a premium Figma subscription. They also walk you through creating your portfolio, how to network, how to set up your case studies, decks, etc. They give a lot of examples and links to articles on all subjects, including a glossary on the terms used in the course. I think overall is very comprehensive and a good intro for UX Design but if you are looking for a course that will dive deep into every aspect this won't be the one. The way I see it and how I took it is to get a good broad understanding of UX and figure out which part I really enjoyed doing. I actually found this channel after I realized what I liked from UX and wanted to find if there was a role that did those things. Now that I know it's product design I can start to learn more about it and tailor my portfolio for that job to hopefully find a job. I hope this is somewhat helpful to you :)

Hello pls I’m in London, I have my Bsc in Marketing Management, and now I’m having my MSc in Management with digital Marketing. I have a background both in graphic design and interior designing as well, but I will love venture into tech. Product designing is something I’m 100% sure I can do well in, being having a graphic background, I think designing/ architecture are my talents, I just didn’t go through the educational route to focus on it. Also I think I will be awesome being a kitchen designer as well, all I need is a mentor, the problem I have is that I don’t have people around me to help me focus on that choice of career. I really wish I could get assistant from anybody concerning my aspirations 😊
