I brush my teeth before having breakfast because if you do it after it can damage your tooth enamel. It is fine brushing your teeth before if you are worried about the mint taste, just brush your teeth as soon as you get up and then have breakfast as one of the last things you do and I don’t have any problem with the mint taste.

You should brush before because when u sleep bacteria collects in your mouth especially around ur gums so when u eat u will slowly make ur teeth decay away as the bacteria mixes with food molecules U can always do it before and after as long as u do it before
