This episode triggers a lot of emotions hey. In as much as one is not their past, but our past does have a way of manifesting itself in our present realities, it's in the way we relate to others and most importantly, to ourselves. To ensure that one is not a slave to their past, deep, intentional introspection and constant reflection on why we do what we do in the present can help us avoid replaying past traumatic scenes as well as subjecting other to the very same traumas that we faced. Although this is emotional, but it gives me more than enough reason as to why I would like to be an educational psychologist.
