If I created a custom model with just one field, how can I relate that field to an existing model? i.e. Relating to hr.employee

As you mentioned in the video, that if there is no 'ManyToOne' field between sales order lines and contact module, we can create one, i would really want to know, how to create it, if there is no such relation.
