Thanks! This helped a lot. I only knew symmetric before

Thank you so much! I finally understood asymmetric relation!

(a,a), (a,b), (b,a). not asymmetric because it have (a,a) but it is antisymmetric because it ignores a = b.

What's the difference between assymmetric and antisymmetric

An antisymmetric relations mean that the relation is not symmetric. For example, let's define a relation R={(0,1),(1,0),(2,3)}. This relationship is not fully symmetric, and we can use (2,3) as a counter example. Thus, the relation is antisymmetric However, an assymetric relationship means that there is NO symmetry within the relationship. For example, let's define a relation S={(0,1),(2,3)} For every x, y in S, it is NOT the case that y S r. Thus, this relationship is assymetric.
