I've become wary of the new style and progressive type churches, due to what I(age 25) believe are genuine doctrinally important issues and compromise with culture. That being said, I started by being careful, listening with discernment, but so far in listening, this is very biblically centered and I am rather excited to finish this series as I seek after God's way for healthy relationship. I am glad to see a good example of what it looks like to be relatable to the culture, yet holy (set apart/not confirming to the world). Praise to our Father for those he set to pastor and teach us. May the Father keep this pastor in humble and submissive service to the Kingdom forever.

" You can't build a christ-centered relationship tomorrow on a foundation of sin today" I wish I'd heard that when I was 18. I turn 31 in August. It feels like I've wasted so much time trying to make a relationship happen on my own ability, and I tried to satisfy my needs on my own. I've been single my whole life wanting a Christ-centered marriage. Thanks.

Thank you Pastor Craig. I am working through my marriage with my wife and we have both come to realize that we were not Christ Centered in our marriage. Through the grace and love of God, we have both recommitted our lives to Him, and our purpose is now through Him. We have been saved individually and together through the love and mercy of the Lord God. Thank you for your message. I will share this with as many people I can so they too can find your inspiring message to salvation.

Now I will hear from people judging my comments and telling me not to judge. That's hypocritical. We are commanded to judge, but judge righteously, by the standard which is God's word.

God, I lift up this marriage. I ask that you help them both have the heart and eyes to see each other through your eyes. I pray that you work in them both, giving them a willingness to forgive and seek reconciliation. God, I ask for patience as they navigate how you will work in this marriage and choose to put you first. Protect both of them from ungodly influences that strain their marriage and their trust. Work in and through them to bless each other in this difficult time. In your name, Amen. -Kat

It is easy to wonder what is wrong or ask a lot of 'why’ questions. God is the author of our stories and His will for us is to give us a hope, and a future! I would love to pray for you! Heavenly Father, I thank you so much for Kala. I thank you that she is wonderfully made and that you love her so much. Father, I ask that in this season of singleness, that you comfort her and remind her that her value and identity comes from you. I pray that you show her that she is not alone. Give her patience for your will to unfold in her life, and peace knowing that you have good plans for her. Lord, we know that singleness can be so hard and so lonely. Lord, be with her. Give her joy and peace and surround her with great community to encourage and support her. In Jesus' name I pray, amen. Here is a Bible plan that I just finished! I think it can really encourage you! 👉Thrive. A 14-Day Devotional for Singles : www.bible.com/reading-plans/9365-thrive-a-14-day-devotional-for-singles -ED Social Media Engagement Team

why a paraphrase of the bible? There is a biblical reason for a pulpit, and the bible use one. The attention is all on this so called pastor. I I I I I I am so sick of hearing of preachers speaking about themselves, Count how much he speaks of himself. I want to hear Christ speak to me, from His word.
@samuelchern5 жыл бұрын
Daniel Mann Hi fellow Brother in Christ now I’m not here to judge but merely give another opinion. I do agree many people nowadays talk much about themselves when they are talking about God but I strongly believe they are using their lives’ example as testimony for others to show how much God has done in their lives and how God can do the same for others, no matter whether they are Christians or not. As they are speaking about their lives, they also show God’s glory and love that has impacted their lives so they will continue to give glory and praise to God.
@samuelchern5 жыл бұрын
Please do not be mistaken that the preacher is only talking about his life and not talking about God’s love and grace and power. I do believe we, as Christians, are called to spread the Gospel to our non christian family and friends by using OUR LIVES as examples of how mighty God’s grace and love is that He would be willing to guide us to be closer to Him though we are sinners.

Yeshua used parables (stories) so that the people could relate and understand... It is my opinion that this pastor is following in His footsteps. All glory to God, His only son, Yeshua and the Holy Spirit for pastors that speak the Truth.
