I’m 40 years old single and never married. I retired when i was 37 (early retirement). I’ve been through some serious relationship. Single blessedness is hpw you call it. I am 62 and single. There are times when I have been asked if I am not afraid of growing old by myself. Staying single is a choice and as you grow older napapaghandaan mo na ang tumanda ng mag-isa. But I have friends na hanggang sa pagtanda ay kasama ko pa din. I also have nephews and nieces who comes and visits me at home. Most of all I have God by my side who always keeps me company, spiritually. I am happy this way. 😊

My neighbour is a 90 y.o. strong and cheery granny who has never been married or is single all her life. I'm turning 40 this year and the introverted me consider her as one of my chummies. That said, she looks very young for her age (per my judgment and this is relative of course, she looks only 60). Although she has had a hard life (worked as a cleaner and hotel chambermaid in the UK since the mid-60s), she never did any vices and never experienced the stresses of being in a marital relationship and having/raising kids. With all that's said, yes, you can be happy if you're single and though no man is an island, that doesn't mean the island has to be a partner or a wife/husband. The island can be in the form of a devoted friend or kin, or even pet.

I'm single, in my 30s and I'm living the life! I don't consider Valentines day as "Undas" at kung sino man nag term nyan, ay kawawa ka nmn. Single life is so awesome! I can spend Valentines day nmn with family, friends, pets and especially with God by going to Church in Adoration. I'm alone but never felt alone ever in my life. Depende talaga yan sa tao eh. I am glad that women in the Philippines are also breaking out of the box that society imposed upon us. That women are made to be at home, have kids, serve their family, and pleasure their husbands. Being childless, career-oriented, and single means there is something "WRONG" with you and you have to be put in your place - inside the box. My challenge to Atom and GMA is to talk about another trend that is breaking the outdated social norms - couples who have embraced the dual income-no kids (DINKS) lifestyle. I enjoy being alone since I am introvert. I am doing everything alone. Yung relationship, dadating din yan sa tamang Panahon. But for now, it's better to focus on yourself and your career. Yung tamang tao dadating din yan pag ikaw ay handa na sa relasyon.

Living here in europe , marerealize mo na very normal kumain mag isa, walking sa park mag isa , watching cinema or kahit ano pang activities. Walang thinking na kawawa or miserable ka. Yung mga family reunion talaga sa pinas ang deadly for single people, super pressure at endless question ng “kailan ka mag-aasawa?” to the point na toxic na.

Masaya pa rin, kahit single. Kumakain ako na mag-isa. Nagka-kape ako na mag-isa. Nanonood ako ng movie na mag-isa. Nagba-bike na mag-isa. Pumapasyal ako sa Manila (Intramuros, Escolta at Binondo) na mag-isa. Okay naman ako at masaya pa rin. I think hindi lang dahil introvert ako. Ang gusto ko sa being single ay may sarili akong oras.

As someone na always single kapag Valentines, I feel seen lalo na sa challenge to do things alone since isa akong only child and had been alone for most of the time lalo na sa ibang lugar ako dati nag-aaral and do things alone hahaha. Ang ganda na ito yung content nila for the Valentines.

Hindi ako introvert pero I'm okay being single kasi hindi talaga ako yung tao na nabiyayaan ng magandang relasyon Masaya naman maging single lalo kung mahal mo sarili mo. .nakakapamasyal ka sa abroad mag isa nagagawa mo lahat ng gusto mo Then habang tumatanda ka. .nakakaramdam ka ng peace of mind vs. Sa nasa relasyon nga ako pero hawak ako sa leeg, pero di ka naman mahal talaga.

Been single my "entire life" and I'm turning 31 this year. I've done so many things alone and I'm okay with it. My parents never really pressured me & my siblings to settle down na kasi we're still busy with our respective careers & stuffs. We still have other plans to make ourselves better especially in the financial aspect of it. And besides, I am not keen on having kids, so there's that. There are times lang talaga na you want to have someone to talk to na hindi family or friends. In short, longing for a companionship. But I'm happy and I'm okay and I am enjoying it. Yan lang naman nagma-matter.

It doesn't matter kung mag isa ka kumain sa restaurant at mamasyal mag isa.. naging single ako for 36 years hanggang dumating si the one. Magtapos muna ng pag aaral at mag trabaho gang sa makapag save for your future family.
