RELATIVE COORDINATES IN AUTOCAD

In AUTOCAD, Relative coordinates are based on the previous point entered. To specify relative coordinates, precede the coordinate values with an @ sign . with the help of @ sign the preceding point becomes the origin for the next point.

You can use the offset command to make the entity offset to any distance.. All the best..

@@TECHCAD Thank you for your time to reply. Unfortunately it is not the same thing. I try to start a line at a distance relative to a known point to another point (relative or relative to another point, or in absolute coordinate). The relative to another point is managed by "From" in the context menu. I learned that "From" has some bugs. It might not work if the "Command Line" is not docked. I will try it later today.
