Relative Motion

How do transform from a stationary frame to a moving frame? We use the Galilean velocity transformation.

Matt is writing on a "learning glass" that is streamed to a projector, reversing the image to allow his class to see his writing the correct way around. I had to watch this several times to get to the bottom of this before I could worry about learning the material.

The derivative dr/dt means the change in position with respect to time of the object at A. It is the velocity of the object at A (as measured in the stationary frame). We simply define this as v. Thanks for watching, Dr. A
