I like your videos because they are short and deal with one topic. It makes it so much easier to digest. Ich danke dir.

Danke!! Thank you for your comment, I’m pleased that the videos are useful - it’s tricky to get the length right; I try to get the important concepts across without getting too bogged down in details. Alles Gute BB

Hi would like to ask a question but it’s not about what you just taught but would like to get some idea from you How can one have an IB instead of Abitur done in Deutschland
@bausteine
@bausteine Жыл бұрын
Hallo! There are - as I understand it - a number of schools in Germany where you can do the IB instead of the Abi - it will probably depend on where you are. Google it, you’ll find lots of info! Good luck, viel Glück! Can you please check this sentence that I read somewhere in a youtube video explaining relative pronoun : "Das ist der Kaffee, der Jack schmeckt"......Isn't schmecken dativ verb and so it should be" Jack schmeckt dem Kaffee. so should it not be: "Das ist der Kafee, dem Jack schmeckt"??
@bausteine
@bausteine Жыл бұрын
You are right, we need the dative. However, the person (to whom the coffee tastes good) is in the dative. So the sentence is correct. It’s just that you can’t see that the word Jack is in the dative because we’re not using an article. You can find a short explanation here MANY Students get THIS WRONG!
