Actually i like to think that sonic speeds up to speed of sound and just walks slashing stuff, and fourthfold strike is just him moving so fast that human eyes "fps" cant keep up and just sees multiple copies of you

Also about the movement of flash strike. It really does move you in 0 absolute time, its moving you that distance of your look vector by changing your coordinates. If the humanoid was ANCHORED (disabling all physical forces) it will still move your forward I already tested this.

if your HumanoidRootPart (not humanoid) was anchored then if you jumped right before using the move you'd stay mid-air, also if you actually teleported if you were up against a wall you would just go through it or get inside it

​@@CiaosonoMemosooi didnt say the player was anchored, I said if they were anchored, you can phase thru any object other than map walls because the developer deliberately filter a raycast result from the hrp to only walls. I said humanoid because I was lazy.

i don't think it's really fair to say flash strike teleports you based on a frame analysis. of course flash strike literally teleports you in the game, however if you use flash strike on a metal bat while they're using death blow, then you'll wish he had his little sister nearby. it's like metal bat is catching sonic during his dash forward, at least that's how i see it edit: what i'm trying to say is that you're just moving really fast

Well… my definition of teleportation in this case is exactly how you’ve put it!! Moving really fast, 0.5c is the speed I used as an approximation.
