Salam, if it can helps, i lived all my life, from my childhood trying to perfect everything i do..... always best in school, till university of the top 10... i met many plan changes these years, i planned a huge career, i left job to begin an entrepreneur life... and it didnt go as calculated..... for someone who always try to perfect eveerything, you always expect the excellent results.... but its not the case.... living half in anger against myself because thinking it all my fault, for being a muslim i am already immune to depression ... so the only feeling i always taught myself to feel is to beat myself up and blame it, i dont quit, never, but im not living positively neither..... these ramadhan days, somehow i learnt about the prisoner sister aafia siddiqui, when you learn about her story ..... shes like an angel on earth..... the us scum, (sorry for the word) framed her as many other innocent people as being responsible for the planes attack.... before that she planned a perfected life... best one in her studies, got to MIT, did her phd if in teaching disabled children via immitation..... she used to help charity organisation, everything..... she ended up with an abusive husband, then kidnapped by the us tortured her and two of her children, while the baby was declared killed..... her children released after like 5 years of rape and torture while they were children.... and she riht now still being imprisoned and Allah knows tortured till the end of her life.........i wont tell you how i reacted to that, ....... the only thing that stopped me from depression because of her (because i wasnt immune anymore i guess) is the fact that.... she said her family to not worry anymore, that she dreams of the prophet peace upon him which comes comforting her nearly each night in her dreams......... and so i learnt something..... in life, at this moment there are people that tried their best to perfect everything, be as good as possible.... but their life ended in the complete opposite direction... it ended in so much suffering, and they were not to be blamed for..... i learned that in life.... you just do your best, but your fate is up to ALLAH, and youll never know why until youre resurected.... so lets do what we can..... and when any pseudo problem comes, lets thank Allah that this problem is nothing compared to others that are better than us and which did more than us to avoid having any hardship still theyre in the middle of it.... and so lets pray for them and then for us.... and keep hope.... because our problems are NOTHING compared

The Bad News- You are naturally born with a sinful nature and have broken at least one of the law (10 commandments) at least once in your life (Example: a lie) (James 2-10 says if you break one of these laws, its the same as breaking them all), so because of this you're on your way to hell already, everyone is (Romans 3-23) The Gospel (Good News): JESUS, Who is GOD in the flesh, came into the world and died for us, to free us from the curse of the law (10 commandments) and ressurected on the third day so that whosoever BELIEVES in HIM will not perish but have everlasting life! The trust needs to be completely to the point that if what your asking for isn't happening then maybe Allah won't give it to you at all for your good Allah knows you better and it might not be good for you. We shouldn't worry too much about getting what we're asking for in this dunya, if we get Alhamdullilah if we don't then still Alhamdullilah Allah knows better. And we're promised the best things in Jannah so that's what we should trust in and do our best with circumstances we're in.

@@thifarthefacetious yes even a spouse, Allah knows better than us as to when or if things should happen to us, including getting married. We should always strive and make an effort to be in a good position for it and make dua ofc it's half our Deen, but the timing is up to Allah. We should do our best to be grateful for what we already have at the time and not worry and pray for whatever Allah has in store for us and trust Him to do what's best for us. Hope that helps. 🙂
