Relax Or Fall Asleep To Relaxing & Peaceful Oddworld Music (Necrum Ambient Atmospheric Soundtrack)

After the overwhelmingly (to my surprise!) positive reaction to my Stockyards music video (Relax Or Fall Asleep To Relaxing & Peaceful Oddworld Music (Abe's Oddysee & Abe's Exoddus Themes) last year, I've been meaning to make more of these but hadn't gotten around to it. So, here's Relax Or Fall Asleep To Relaxing & Peaceful Oddworld Music (Necrum Ambient Atmospheric Soundtrack) one I've just made of the peaceful sounding soundtrack from Oddworld: Abe's Exoddus (1998) featuring the Necrum theme music composed by Ellen Meijers and Josh Gabriel put to an image I've animated of Necrum as seen in Oddworld: Soulstorm (although, ironically, Necrum isn't actually seen like that in the game, sadly!). The bird creature in the picture is called a Buzzard, I believe, and I like to imagine the bird squawking noises in this Necrum theme from Abe's Exoddus are coming from this bird!

A lot of people enjoyed the first video I made like this last year and said they found it useful, so I've been meaning to make more of these. I hope in some small way I'm able to create some kind of ambience to Necrum and that you may find it relaxing or useful in some way. :)

Excellent idea! Necrum was always my favourite environment from Exoddus- the colours, the jungle, the ambient sounds, the feeling of an almost never ending height and depth to the landscape... all of it just felt so alien-esque and other-worldly! P.S. Please put all these sorts of vid in one playlist :)

@@dfrrgvkgkr4025 For some reason, during the upload process something went wrong and it caused the video to freeze for a minute. KZbin said they'll 're-run' it and it should be fixed and put backup within 48 hours. (If not I'll just reupload it eventually.)

Listening to this makes me reflect on my biggest disappointment with Soulstorm; Necrum was nowhere near as interesting as it was in Exodus and no Scrab and Paramite Vaults was really disappointing.

Unfortunately when a game is updated for modern audiences, some stuff gets left on the cutting room floor. Not saying I don't miss that stuff either, but it happens

To be honest i prefer soulstorm soundtracks, because they're darker and give to you the sensation that this is an horror game, i honestly don't know why some people don't like them, they're so cool

@@007nikster2 Well my favourites is the menu theme,the necrum mines(a perfect mix of machines and music) and the credits, there are a lot of level themes,like necrum, made by machines and that's very clever to be honest, because it seems that the level is creating music by himself

Oddworld: Soulstorm but the exterior of Necrum was never actually shown in the game for some reason.... So all we have is this beautiful early art of what it would've looked like.
