I had an English teacher starting in 7th grade that I had on the odd years of high school that was absolutely amazing. The last day of 11th grade I showed him a story I was working on independently of his class and he was a character in it. He was always so nice and supportive of my stories and I just had to tell him how much I appreciated it. He's one teacher I wish I could have stayed in contact with, but he since moved schools to be closer to his own home. He's the reason I still write.

A wonderful teacher of mine in high school just passed await recently. Her name was Julia Pittman and she taught English and Composition. I never had her as a teacher but I knew who she was because she was a friend of mine’s mother. She did Drama after school that she volunteered to do, and in my Senior year I was in the musical she directed and was a main character. She fostered my love of theatre and musicals. She was amazing and touched so many lives with her teaching and friendship. Great glue session today. Ewww fish! lol!
