I have learned with fine strands, if you prefer straight style don't blow dry your hair. Air dry it and then flatiron. Also, oil your scalp with JBCO and/or HCO at least 3 to 4 times a week. If it is too strong, use light carrier oil like; Jojoba or Sweet Almond oil. You can also use castor oil as part of your mask and prepoo. Most importantly, be consistent with your routine.

I went natural about 4 years ago because I couldn't take care of my relaxed hair at all. I didn't know much about it back then. I love my natural hair but it's coming to the point where I just don't wanna manage it anymore. I may relax my hair soon. Thanks for the pros and cons. Everything has it's ups and downs I guess it's what we're willing to deal with 💕

I have seen thick relaxed healthy long hair on U tube. I have also seen broken uneven dry natural hair. Do your research and give yourself one full year. I think you look beautiful with straight hair.

Thank you! I was telling myself this. I need to be patient.

Keep going...you are doing well. Air drying provides more thickness to the hair. Indirect heat also helps ie roller sets are better than direct heat.

Thank you! I might try rollers one time. Thats a good idea too.

Do you feel like your hair is growing with the relaxed hair? I’m natural and thinking about relaxing? Can you do a video of your weekly routine and show your hair without the upart?
@justlynette50523 жыл бұрын
Yes! My hair is growing. My ends break less, but i hurt my hairs thickness when I was natural so I'm focusing on filling it out before growing it out. I can definitely show routine video
