Relaxer Wash Day: New protein treatment to stop breakage on relaxed hair

I am very happy you tried this product. I have been using an OG protein that discontinued a few years back Dudley DRC 28 and I wanted another protein to use on a bi-weekly/monthly basis to keep my very long relaxed hair strong and save my Dudley for my twice a year relaxer prep and post.

I’m very excited to see the results from your relaxer stretch! I’m also doing a relaxer stretch but I will use the keratin smoothing treatment by “ANSWR” to make my new growth more manageable without breakage during my stretching period which is 3-6 months. I will continue to wear my hair without covering during this process. When the keratin treatment has worn off I will relax all of the new growth. My goal is to relax my hair only once a year!🎉🎉🎉 I’ll be watching your progress and wish you well! ✨🙏🏾✨

I have never heard of that product but I might check it out. I don't really do dedicated protein treatments anymore since I started getting quick keratin with my salon visits. I haven't found it necessary but doing one every couple of months wouldn't hurt. 💜

Your hair is looking thick and long. Look like it’s coming alone just fine and mine as well. I might have to relax before you do because my new growth is more hard than yours and I have high porosity. Thanks for all of your help.

I do not recommend this protein on your hair on your relaxer day. This protein treatment should be use 6 weeks after your relaxer as this protien is a lot harsher than the aphogee 2 reconstructor. The aphogee 2 minute reconstructor can be use a week after your relaxer as it is a lot gentler on the hair.

To strip the hair means to remove buildups or coatings on the hair shaft which prevents products from penetrating the hair shaft.

Hello, This question may have been asked already. Have you ever tried the Aphogee 2 step treatment? The one that you put on your hair and sit underneath dryer until your hair gets completely dry and hard.
