We've started this channel @thefarm-dogtv as a way for people to help support The Farm, by popping these long 12 hour videos on the TV in the background while you’re at home or for your pet while you're not home. By watching, you're generously supporting all our animals here at the farm.
Happy, peaceful, relaxing & entertaining videos & music for you and your dog to watch of rescue dogs, puppies, cats, kittens and dingoes (who have been saved from euthanasia and many with special needs) living together at a farm sanctuary, playing & having the best days together.
Dogs having the best time is a great distraction & relief for dogs suffering from separation anxiety, boredom & loneliness while you're away from home all day or if they're feeling stressed during fireworks and thunderstorms. A virtual dog day care for your dog while you're away or watch at home yourself in the background for relaxation. Quick about us:
We (Mum, Dad and 3 kids) started out with a small dog daycare business (Doggy Daycare Farm Trips) in the countryside of Australia. COVID hit and we began to take a more rewarding turn and take in dogs that were struggling to find homes in the shelter. Dogs with more serious behavioural issues, dogs set for euthanasia, dogs with medical/special needs. In truth, it’s cost us everything we had financially, so we had this idea that people might enjoy watching some of the journey and we could support ourselves by making videos on KZbin. So here we are. Dad, Luke, is retired from the Special Forces after several active deployments, he then went on to become a dog trainer. Mum, Sam, was in advertising, hence the KZbin part. Our kids Elle (8), Evie (6) and Wolf (2) all help us care for and love on all the 30 animals (20 dogs, 2 Dingoes, 2 cats, 5 goats and 1 horse) in our care.
To all those who have been watching since the beginning, we cannot thank you enough. Boy, have you gone through a lot with us. To those just joining us, thanks for being here, we really hope you stay and enjoy our videos, your views truly do help with food and vet bills for all our animals here at the farm. I'm sitting here with tears running down - watching Faith and Hope together on the beach. That beautiful angel knew her girl was going to be all right and I think it helped her pass easier. Sam and Luke, for those of us who’ve been watching for years these trips down memory lane are full of joy, heart tugs and laughter. For those just looking for the first time, they are in for such a treat. I loved both videos so far but this beach video is special because the beach is my happy place too. Seeing Barney having the time of his life brings comfort seeing how you gave him a wonderful full life on the farm. Watching Faith peacefully gazing at the waves and the beauty around her, feeling the ocean cool her feet and willingly coming to you for a comfort pat, wow you gave her that. And then watching her daughter Hope joyfully running with her pack, her past far behind her, because of you. Roscoe always does everything with style, from his side-eye sneer to lunging straight into the waves to retrieve the ball, he’s so impressive. We all get to feel the joy of rescuing because you chose to help these beautiful dogs. With the gorgeous Australian beach and ocean as the backdrop this video could and should be viewed anywhere.❤

Ughh… I can’t stand it! Seeing Lily dance with a stick gets me every time. Tank and Chopper. Chop knew exactly what he was doing when he refused to go back to the shelter after a day at the farm and now they have the best life. RIP Conrad, the father of the three gorgeous German Shepards. Word was received that he passed on May 31 from cancer. He and Lucy were rescued from a back yard breeding operation, and both were of the original rescues. The triplets were born on the Farm and have known nothing but love their entire lives. RIP Big Boy.

My two favoritest things on the planet...dogs and the ocean. I love those big rolling waves you get. This is exactly what my new rescue shepherd needs. She has never experienced inside before. Every tiny noise freaks her out and sends her into a neurotic panic of twirls. The ac clicking on, the tv clicking on, not knowing why there are voices coming from the thing on the wall, a squeaky chair, the microwave, it all sends her into a literal tailspin. It breaks my heart. She was 45pounds when the shelter got her (she's about 5yrs old!). I think she's about 60 now, and I've had her two and half months. She's happiest outdoors with mum & dad, and is sweet as pie. If I could only get her past her biggest fears. Sorry to ramble. I'm so in love with her. I equally love your channel, I have learned a lot and my girl is already responding to a lot of it. Luke I wish I could pack you up and have you help me with her. Well if I'm wishing, I'd pack us up and come spend a month on your farm! Thank you both for all the work you do and for raising such beautifully intelligent children who get to be curious kids. ❤❤❤

For noise issue for the dog, just put your TV on all day long, after a while, your dog should not be afraid of noise, take her to busy shopping mall, street where there are lots of noise situation etc, eventually she won’t be anymore. If you have a question like ‘how to deal with dog who is afraid of noise’ type that question on google you should have many answers you can research

Beautiful visuals, lovely to see the dogs cavorting on the beach. It's an afterthought, of course - but i would have enjoyed the sound of sea and thundering waves with this.video. Perhaps because the only way our dogs respond is to something they generally relate to. Maybe our dogs are tone deaf? The music is soothing, the visuals lovely.
