One thing I have to do before I get into bed at night is my dishes. I don't have a dishwasher so I wash all my dishes and leave it on the sinktop to dry though the night and then I put away all the dishes first thing in the morning :)

You should do a pocket door for the pantry so you have a full open space when you’re in the pantry instead of dealing with a door that’s potentially in your way, but only if it ever is! That’s what I’d love if I had a pantry like that.

Doing a toy rotation has really helped myself and my toddler get more use out of his toys and not feel so overwhelmed. Also for where you have your pics maybe you can hang most of the pics and put the bins up there for his toys.

I would leave the wallpaper the showpiece, shelves would be too much and maybe pair down toys to ten, they are fine with less really. I think in decorating this room and with toys less is more.

I love how it’s all coming together!! I do think the living room walls look a bit cluttered. I would remove all the frame and just simplify the decor. The wall paper already has a lot going on. That’s just a though. Ima start cleaning at night, seems easier lol love your vids!!😍

Hi Alex!!! ☺️ I love your videos so much! With the photo frame situation on the sides of the fireplace I was just thinking that the wallpaper is such a statement, kinda like art on its own, you could try just taking everything off and leaving it as negative space... you always decorate your mantel beautifully so that whole area already looks 👍🏼 I have that issue sometimes where I really want to put art or decor in every space but then I start taking things off and I like it more 😅 just a thought... whatever you do will end up looking beautiful either way 💕sending you lots of love from Texas!!

Yes for me it is the kitchen. No dishes in the sink and run the dishwasher if it’s full. Wipe down the counters. It’s so nice to come down to in the morning! :)

Why don’t you rotate his toys. Store them in the basement and switch them out weekly. Then you can have more of a real living room.

I vacuum and do start the dishwasher every night. I have 2 dogs that shed so it’s nice to wake up without a bunch of fur sticking to my feet and then I can unload the dishwasher in the morning and load it throughout the day so my kitchen stays cleaner.
