I'm a strong Christian from the states, yet I am in love with my Habibi, an Iraqi Muslim man. His culture is beautiful, and the music is mystique. I love it. Him and my Saudi friends taught me how to read, write & speak in Arabic. :)

Another great Detroitjeeper piece. Arabic music is so majestic - it is voluptious & has vast deepness.Well, as the saying does 'Arabic is the language of the heavens'.And Detroitjeeper we like your name it reminds us of a green jeep roaming the desert/rocky hills. We also drive a Merc jeep as we r jeep fans.

I agree with aztecsun, except I am an American hispanic and I love the United States, but your culture, food, and especially your language are something that have always interested me and always loved. We are all one living a struggle whether that struggle be personal well being, life problems, or personal ideologies we are all ONE regardless of religion because regardless of identity someones out there shaping who we are and that is the beautiful part of being alive.

rough translation O soul don't be sad, O heart stay at ease. we came to this world as visitors and the lifetime is just seas and rivers. O soul don't be sad, O heart stay at ease. we came to this world as visitors and the lifetime is just seas and rivers. O rich and poor we came to this life as visitors. the head of the brave will never bow no matter what. humility tastes bitter, the free cant take it. humility tastes bitter, the free cant take it. love is the secret. lifetime is just a souvenir, and to whom who is drowned in illusions, wake up and look forward. Your strength is within you and your humiliation is within you, this life is a dream.

@Arabchick21 The Arabs who came to Brazil were almost all christians and the rate of intermarriage with people without Arab origin was very big. So today it's very hard to find someone below the age of 40 who is of 100% Arab origin. I wouldn't call them ethnic Arabs, almost none can actually speak Arabic. Anyway, certainly there are more descendants of Portugueses, Africans, Italians or Germans than Arabs.
