Love this so much - the simplicity of the repetitive pattern just draws me in. I'm going to do this, and I'm also going to try something else with a twist on this idea too. If it works I'll post. I have a watercolor piece that went super crazy, but reminds me of a kaleidoscope. I've been staring at it for awhile wondering how to make it work. I'm thinking I could do something like this pattern you've demonstrated over the top of my watercolor, but allow some of the watercolor piece still show through in sporadic places. Eeeek, we'll see. Denise - you ALWAYS come up with such amazing creative ideas!!!

Denise I love how you are always finding new ways to mark make,create patterns and layers,mix meduims together in unexpected ways that yield great visual results. The colours in the final piece all came togther so well and it has an alomst histrical pattern/feel to it. I found myself rhinking the finoshed piece would make a great end paper on the inside cover of one of your amazing hand made sketvhbooks/journals. Your use of sencils always elevates the pieces you create as as well (matt) P.s Barbie of the Channel Nellie and Ruth Designs just began a new collage series using the Colour Cube cards as inspiration,take a look when ou have a liitle time,she says you inspired her to use these cards.
