I have depression unfortunately I can afore medication 💊 and my plants 🪴 have play a big role at keeping me sane. Some time I feel so bad that simply I can’t take care of my plants. Honestly I am so grateful that you make videos, you relax me and inspire me to keep going with my plant 🌱 journey 🥰

I'm so sorry you have to go through that, so many people I know are struggling mentally and we're still so young. I'm lucky I'm not in the state they are in, yet. But still, I hope you can find the help you need and motivation to keep going ♡

You truly need to do some research. You realize those pills you can get aren’t a requirement and I wouldn’t recommend them. There is always a natural way…they just don’t want you to know that. For example a plant called Perforate St John's-wort has been used for depression for many years…other things I can add like certain mushrooms also.

I started to use my plants as a barometer of my depression disorder. If I see them neglected I get awareness of me going down that slope.. and I immediately try to change something, get sunlight, take care of my plants and myself. But sometimes I just watch them die

tysm! so cool to hear you're getting into all those things, there's so much to learn and joy in this hobby. there's a lot of cross-over with aquariums, houseplants, and terrariums. I like to use my aquariums for water propagations and sometimes use aquarium water to water my plants. i used to study aquaculture and aquaponics so i know an unnecessary amount ab fish poop lol

In Portugal where it is pretty hot in summer, generally people put a little dish under each pot. You lose less water that way and this keeps the roots cool also. Also, another Mediterranean watering tip is to only water early morning or evening. But you probably know all this. X:)

tip for your platycerium: soak it in water for 30 minutes and that only once or twice a month and youre good to go for another month. also i noticed, is your cyperus (on your balcony) constantly soaking in water? because it loves it, like to have its ''feet'' in water constantly with a bassin or something

I love how cute your worm bin is! I can't believe how it can look great! I need to get one~ I Bokashi our foodwaste and I prefer it to vermicomposting (then again both would be great as well) because I can compost processed food, leftover food (even meat and bones!) as well as the regular stuff people usually compost. And during the processing, you can collect "leachate" and are a natural fertilizer as well. I've been diluting it in water and my garden plants love it! After the food ferments I add it to a compost bin and I thought the worst was over... But I saw maggotsssss They turned out to be black soldier fly maggots and are great for decomposing but I got the chills just looking at them squirm..... Also the flies only live for a few days are aren't known carriers of diseases so they've been a surprising but not altogether unpleasant experience 😅
